Calendly can block off your availability for holidays based on your country. This helps you take time off without needing to adjust your schedule manually.

Manage your holidays

  1. Go to Settings → Calendar → Advanced.
  2. Under Holidays, confirm your country.
  3. Use the On/Off switch next to each holiday:
    • On = you’re unavailable for scheduling.
    • Off = you’re available for scheduling.

Customize which holidays you observe

These settings apply to all your event types. You can edit the list of holidays you observe to match your personal or cultural needs.

Calendly supports holiday settings in several countries. You can view the full list below.

  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

Handle holidays differently by event type

To keep a holiday off for some event types but available for others, you must first turn off the global holiday block. Date-specific hours can't override an active holiday.

  1. Turn off the holiday block for that day.
  2. Go to Scheduling and select the event type you want to keep unavailable.
  3. Set custom hours for that event type to block the holiday.
